So, I am feeling less like I am drowning in homework now. which is always a plus. which means I can do fun things!
I went and partied with Dena in Dallas on Friday. We went and ate at Tio's Tortas which was amazingly delicious. Then we drove around and ended up at Lee Harvey's (which is an amazing name for a bar in Dallas, by the way). We ended up meeting a few guys who worked for Fox News doing camera shit... or something? I don't remember. They were all really funny though. And drunk. I told them I was studying to be a teacher and they went from calling me the teacher, then I was a librarian, then I was Tina Fey, then I was Tina Fey the Librarian... It was hard to keep up with.
Also, last Wednesday, RoxAnne and I went and saw Feist! It was pretty awesome. She kind of remixed a lot of her songs so her normally fast songs she played slow and her slower songs she played more up beat. It was very interesting. While I was there Jack was texting me about Snoop Dogg Happy Hour at the Flying Saucer and I demanded that he get me a cup. Later he texted me and told me he gave my glass away, so I told him we were no longer friends. So when I got to Dena's on Friday night she handed me a box and I was like, "What is this?" and she was like, "Guess" and I was like, "I have no idea" and she was like, "Open the box then" and I did and it was
So then I was like, "Well aren't I the asshole."
And that last paragraph proves that I grew up in the Valley during the '90s.
