So wow.
Alot of .....things, happened this weekend.
We went to sleep at the hotell ladeda..fun.
THe next morning we got ready to go run ate at like 11.
We started running at 4...
And the rest of this story I'm a little fuzzy about because I dont remember it at all I just know what people have told me.
Apparently around the 2.5 mile marker I told Katherine and some of the guys I felt dizzy, I dont remember saying that, then I started swerving...and in the next minute I had totally collapsed and was out. Luckly Rocky caught me so I didnt hit my head.
They took me on a gator to the feild with all the medical supplies..
I was still WAY out of it.
They gave me an IV and tried to make me come to but I still wasnt really there.
Apparently I barfed in front of my whole team...how grand.
Anywho, about 45 minutes later when I started to realize what was going on they loaded me up onto an ambulence to take me to a hospital in Winston-Salem.
They told me I had passed out from heat exhaustion and dehydration.
I had another IV on the way to the hospital..thats 2.
At the hospital they gave me yet..ANOTHER IV 3..(I was REALLY dehydrated)
I was freezing, but they had to take all these tests and everything...so I spend about 2 hours in the hospital.
Then, yet again, they gave me another IV...soo all in all I had 4 freakin IVS!
It was REALLY scary, especially because I didnt remember ANY Of it.
When I checked out of the hospital I threw up.
THen on the way home when we stopped at a gas station I threw up.
And I couldnt quit shaking.
THen when I got home I just went straight to sleep.
The next morning was HELL, every muscle in my body was killing me..I didnt want to move.
Dr. O'neil told me that it was becase I had poison in my muscles and that to get it out I had to keep drinking LOTS of water...which kept making me sick.
Then last night I threw up YET again...and had another fever.
Arg, this morning was a little better but I still hurt EVERYWHERE and I'm not allowed to do any physical activities for awhile, I wasnt allowed to go to school today and I REALLY REALLY want to throw up.
