(no subject)
Wow, I can't believe it, but after months away I am going to post again. Don't expect this to be spectacular or anything of that nature, but just take it as a 2nd grade teacher's update on life.
Looking back through my entries it is crazy to see what my priorities were in college (sorority-$%$#@! is what I think about that, boys-hahahaha, classes-well those were kind of important, dorm drama-Geez oh Pete!) and what now is important in my life now (teaching 21 fantastic 2nd graders, actually pulling in an income- but having to pay grown-up bills, trying to plan a wedding- unfortunately that takes the backburner a lot due to teaching, trying to keep up with friends, living in two houses at once- I can't wait until I am moved in with Matt and living in one house!, and just taking life one day at a time).
Aside from that, I'm not sure what else to say. To update on everything that has happened between now and the last time I updated would take an eternity, and I am rather rusty with this updating business. I'll just say this:
I am a content person now and in college I wasn't sure when that would happen. I have a job that I never wake up in the morning dreading; I have met a man who makes me confident, loved, and ultimately happy; I have family and friends who love me unconditionally- even when teaching consumes my life and my contact with them becomes minimal. I am in a good place right now.
Thanks for reading. I still read all of your all's posts frequently and I enjoy keeping up with your lives! Perhaps there will be another post in the future...
