This had to be one epic fire party. I find it interesting that the European French word for "burner" varies from the Canadian French word - "burneur" (I assume they just borrowed the English and transliterated it according French phonemes) as opposed to the Canadian term "brûleur," which is a calque of the English term. As per what I'd expect of Canadian French, in the vein of using "le fin de semaine," instead of "le week-end" or "arrêt," instead of just "stop." ^_~
