Buffy Trivia--Rules & Question Set 1
Tuesday is a very special day. It’s the day new DVDs are released (and therefore the day I visit Best Buy). It’s the day after Monday, which means your week has already started. And, most importantly, Tuesday is Buffy Day.
Yes, I know, there is no more new Buffy. You might even say that it’s not “really” Buffy day--but in your heart of hearts, don’t you get a little excited on Tuesdays? Doesn’t the world seem a little nicer on Tuesdays? If you think I’m insane, you’re probably right, but that’s not the point right now. All this Tuesday talk is to tell you that

Every other Tuesday I will be post my slightly infamous Buffy Trivia. ::be impressed::
Buffy Trivia is composed of questions taken from the tv show, DVD commentaries and featurettes, and sources such as The Watcher’s Guide(s) and Dusted (no trivia from the comics or novel series currently). All questions contain multiple choice answers and are original creations (as such, if you would like to "borrow" my trivia or a question, please give me credit for my hard work and obsessive tendencies).
Questions are divided into the following categories:
Scoobies and Sunnydale Citizens-character questions about the “good guys.”
Demons, Monsters, and Big Bads-character questions & information specific to villains.
Hang Outs, Homes, and HQs-location questions.
Spells, Lore, and Watcher Training-questions on weapons, spells, and Giles’ exposition.
Episode-episode specific questions.
Wild Card-completely random trivia from any source.
Identify-identify the epiosde of a screencap, episode/speaker of a quote, writer of an episode, etc.
Reply to the complete set of questions by posting a comment. Answers are posted for everyone who responds to the question set. Points are awarded for each question answered correctly. After every five sets (five sets = 1 round) the points will be cleared and the top three players will receive a place of fame and a winner’s icon. The winner’s icon will change each time and will only be available to players who are in the top three for that set.
To make things a little more difficult we have a challenge category called The Hellmouth Six. The Hellmouth Six is for the top third in each set (I will let you know if you need to answer the Hellmouth Six). These are the toughest questions in the game. Everyone else may answer the much easier Vampire Slayage questions. The Hellmouth Six and Vampire Slayage have been instigated beginning with Round 3 of Trivia. The Hellmouth Six is responsible for replying with complete information for identifying questions. They are also not allowed to use the feature Cavalry's Here.
Cavalry's Here is for all other players. Players may request help on up to 5 questions in each set. The Cavalry will come in and offer a clue to help the player answer the question correctly.
