I've been chilling out with a few new friends who live at a place called "The French Mansion". And together we've decided that it's a pity so many people lose their childlike spontanaity and shamlessness.
We were reminded of this when we decided to jump in the pool last night... the boys just stripped down and jumped in. And as I'm an avid believer in the adage, "when in Rome..." I followed tout de suite. There was another girl there who was incredibly hesitant and just ashamed of herself and embarassed for us. We couldn't understand. From our point of view, we were in the water and having a splashing good time and she was ... sitting. Watching. Being bored.
All in all, it was a wonderful fourth of July weekend celebration. And I have a feeling that I'll be hanging around the FM more and more this summer... if only to lay out by their amazing pool!
