Strike One?
So as far as the on going dilema of me asking this girl out goes, well I had actually worked up the nerve to do it tonight. I had just finished this excellent book "Blue Like Jazz" that basically said in one part to just do it and get it over with, so that was my plan. After service I was having a casual conversation with said girl in question when it was getting time for her leave so I was going to walk her to her car and then pop the "Wanna get coffee sometime" question. Well I had let my friend Brandon and his wife Jana know that I was gonna do it tonight but I guess Jana forgot cause she comes up to Tabitha (the girl) and says "hey can we talk I'll walk you to your car." I was dumbfounded, my heart dropped this was my chance and it was ruined. Well my friend Brandon comes up says "Jana!" Jana is like "What!" This prompts Tabitha to say "Hey it's no problem Dan can walk me to my car." At this point I don't care cause my mood is ruined and I would feel like I was interrupting them so I let them go.
