And it seems that regardless of what we look for, we're constantly met with a slew of ads that explicitly state they are not looking for couples, be it a studio, 1br or a room for rent. Maybe if we were looking for a 2br and were made of money we wouldn't have this problem, but it seems to me that this is discrimination.
I've spent the good part of the last hour looking through legal resources online, reading about housing discrimination cases, but I've yet to come up with anything definitive. I did find this, but after reading it I wasn't sure what the end result was. I think I've just fried my brain by straining it a bit.
