Can someone tell me if I'm over-reacting here?

Phone conversation between me and my roommate:

Me: Hey.

Her: What's up?

Me: I was just calling to see if you had rehearsal tonight or if you were coming home.

Her: I don't have rehearsal, but I'm hanging out with [a couple of her friends]... So I'll be home when I'm done with that.

Me: I just got home myself.

Her: Oh, what did you do today?

Me: I had a job. Actually, I'll tell you the whole story when you get home, if you want to hear it.

Her: I have a lot of reading to do when I get home, so tell me now.

Me: Jesus, that was pushy.

Her: What?

Me: It was like, 'I don't have time for you, Justin.'

Her: No, I have a lot of reading to do, and when I get home, I need to do it.

Me: Fine, whatever, I'll see you when you get home.

Her: Don't... Fine, whatever. Bye.

Maybe I am, but at the same time, I don't think I can adequately portray her tone here. It was not a friendly one, let me tell you. It even sounded like she really didn't care to talk to me. Gah.
