I hate this planet. It assaults my senses and its inhabitants are filthy, violent creatures. Not all of them, but most of them. It is more technologically advanced than I would have thought, given the natives' penchant for self-destruction. I'm amazed they have survived this long.

I watched the people, thousands of them, walk along the city's streets that their ground vehicles clog with sheer numbers, and the flying transports that barely miss each other in their hast to get to whatever destination they deem so important as to risk death.

It is so different from Thundera, yet frighteningly similar in some ways. I know the others miss our home world as much as I, though I think they have accepted this new one a bit more readily.

I will admit it is easy to blend in here. Its population is so vast that no one will notice a few strangers. As for the difference in our appearance, the locals have more than a few of their number who alter their own features by medical means that we can pass with the right clothes.

So far we have been able to avoid drawing attention to ourselves... However, things could change. The others have spoken of a need to help these people. They say that the authorities on this planet are inadequate and that too many innocent people are suffering at the hands of thieves, rapists and murderers.

I am uncertain. It seems that they are merely reaping the world they have sown. I had my world taken from me but these people are throwing theirs away.

I will go along with what the others decide
