I don't know if this was the blurt I wanted or not, but here goes... ;)
I was told by my kung fu instructor that I should keep my heart rate below 140 beats per minute when running. My rested heart rate is over 100. I reached 142 BPM when walking at 2.5 miles per hour. When jogging at 5 MPH, I hit a whopping 176 BPM.
Either I am headed for a heart attack soon, or I'm headed for a hear attack soon...
I don't even feel tired or like my heart is beating all that hard when I'm running that fast. So I wonder how fast it is beating and how hard it is pumping when I am doing my kung fu workout and I do feel like it is working overtime, when I can feel my pulse throbbing through my entire head...
