It's been a while since I've really updated, besides all the fun quizzes I stole ;)
Yesterday my mom and I went shopping. I got some nice new clothes and I enjoyed spending some alone time with her. Then I went over Dillon's house and we had a camp fire and made somores. It's so weird that when he called me that they were going to do a camp fire because I was thinking only a few hours before that I really wanted to have a camp fire, but it takes too much with permits and what not. Turns out you don't need one if you have it in a special type of container and not on the ground. Now I just need to get me one of them... It was so relaxing...it was a nice cool night and the somores were delish.
Father's Day (today) was good. I think my dad enjoyed it. First we went to see my mom's dad (my poppy) and saw the rest of the family too, which was nice. He's not doing well at all, so this may very well be my mom's last Father's Day with him. I really hope that's not true, but only God can tell. Then we came home and I made potato latkes (potato pancakes for all you who aren't familiar with Jewish food) and I made chocolate pudding pie for him yesterday and we had that for dessert. Then we watched 50 First Dates- I loved it. I bought it for $10 at Best Buy b/c although I never saw it before, I knew I would love it. I always love Adam Sandler! Now I am going to go burn him some CD's for the store.
