Fall semester starts tomorrow. It feels like I just finished Summer B. Which I did 3 weeks ago. College has this weird way of feeling like it's getting easier, but harder at the same time. It's hard to describe.
I think I forgot all the Italian I learned last year. I am going to feel like a real ass if I don't start to remember it quickly. I have all this pressure from my family to learn Italian since we are going back to Italy next summer. They seem to expect me to besome wiz at Italian and be able to converse with the local-types like I've been living there forever. I have much lower expectations, but somewhere I'll find a middle ground where I can slide by. I always do.
Tapeheads is the most ridiculous movie I have seen in a long time. Do yourself a favor and rent it or buy it (only $5.99 at Best Buy). John Cusack and Tim Robbins goodness from 1988. Can't be beat folks.
Football season starts soon. I'll have something to do on Sundays now, besides sit around and watch NASCAR off and on. I mean NASCAR is ok, but all the cautions get really annoying and boring. I just hope the Baltimore Ravens kick ass and then take names after they win the Super Bowl.
And finally...does anyone else feel like the Olympics are just stupid? I mean I have watched a bunch of shit off and on, but there seems to be nothing special about it at all. Maybe it's the way it's being televised and presented. Or maybe how all they fucking show is swimming and gymnastics. Although I guess gymnastics is over finally. I think I may be the only person who like the Winter Olympics better.
