Back from Conference '09. Let's get all West Coast and call it a hella good year.
No. 1 thing I learned: My skill set resides with dealing with the senior high kids. I can't tell you how much getting taken out of Colony and put in Frontier took my stress level down. Now to get a senior high small group...
No. 2 thing I learned: My shoes suck. My feet started hurting on MONDAY and still hurt today.
And...we had about 70 kids this year. AWESOME! Haven't had that many since 2003, and, to boot, it was probably my favorite year since that year.
So, good stuff all around. I even woke up yesterday and kind of missed the kids.
