Frustration
I've spent the last month or so working on a patchwork leather vest which was to be a major part of my fairy costume for tomorrow.
The vest is awful. I just put the finishing touches on it tonight and it looks like crap. I'm not sure what happened. The muslin mock-up was fine.
Plus, it's raining and expected to do so throughout the weekend. There's no way I can ride my bike to work with my wings on in the rain.
Argh!
I hope the rain abates a bit on Saturday. I'm driving down to San Jose to see Abney Park, and I'd rather not have to drive my friend's car in an unfamiliar city after a year of not driving at all AND have to worry about rain!
