(no subject)
So I'm having to postpone the community service indefinitely, and probably the green streaks. At least a little while on the streaks.
Russ is being laid off at Baton. Which--although I believe this is a goood thing considering the stressload he's had--leaves me having to get more hours at work. Not that I mind that. I've been enjoying my job. I feel so lucky to finally have a job I don't hate.
I ate something last night that's made my stomach a total disaster area. I don't quite feel bad enough to call in sick, but I definitely don't feel good.
Looking forward to getting paid Friday, even if I can't go out and get my hair done. Vanity must wait in the face of financial uncertainty. Russ thinks he can get hired back on at Barnes & Noble pretty quickly. But I know things rarely turn out like you plan, so I'm squirreling away in case it takes him longer to find something new.
Oh yeah... it's too fucking hot for March! (Stupid Sacramento... what's wrong with having a normal spring? Why must we go straight into summer?! I miss the weather in Coos Bay....)
