Vote Help

A coworker of mine today made the comment that she will not know who she is going to vote for until she steps up to the voting machine. She expressed frustrations with all the allegations and counter allegations between candidates that are reported on daily. I think it is easy to get caught up in these, in not knowing what to believe from whom, and to loose sight of the meat of things - the issues. In the long run, we all want to pick a candidate whose policies best match those that we ourselves support.

This promises to be an election to be remembered, with record breaking voter turnout. There is so much at stake, and no guarantees about the outcome. If you are undecided, please take a moment to check out VoteHelp. It is one of the best sites I have found for matching views and opinions to the candidate most in line with them. From the site:

VoteHelp is a completely independent entity, not tied to any candidates or political parties. Our goal is to help you learn more about the candidates via an easy-to-use filter. Your individual results will not be shared or made public unless you choose to do so. While it is impossible to create an easy-to-use interface that perfectly captures the nuances of every issue and every candidate's stance, we have made a great effort to present the issues and candidate's views as clearly and accurately as possible.

Make your vote count - make it informed!
