Long shot, but does anyone know how to upload an animated .gif image into a LJ entry?  I just figued out a little bit of how to make photoshop image ready  work but when I try to upload the resulting file, only the first frame will show.  Any input or assistance greatly appreciated!

I put it into my Photobucket account a long time ago because I wanted to use it for an LJ icon, but it was too large and I couldn't figure out how to re-size it and have it show anything but the first layer. I still haven't, mostly because I haven't taken the time to play around with Photoshop and work it out.

With this in my Photobucket account, then, I just put in the standard photo-inserting code and it worked fine.

< img src="URL"/ > without the spaces between the brackets and the text.

That's the tactic I took too - except I went the route of uploading it to my scrapbook here on LJ and then inserting the image into an entry - or attempting to! Maybe I'll go the route of Photobucket and see if I have any more luck. At least now I know it can be done! Thank you!
