[Sonic can be seen sitting down on a bench in a Park-like room. He's fiddling with something in his hands... It looks like a weird walkie-talkie. This must be the communicator he was looking for so desperately. But, it doesn't seem to be working. He looks kind of... depressed?? A Sonic?! WHAT IS THIS. He seems to have something on his mind. He still looks tired and hungry, but his thin-ness isn't as serious as it was before... And he doesn't smell anymore! He actually looks blue now because of washing off the dirt.]
Hhah. [flips the communicator around a few times, then tries to press some of the buttons] ... Looks like it's busted. Either that or... It won't work if I'm not stuck there. Geez. This is kind of a bummer. [shakes his head and laughs a bit] You'd think I'd be ecstatic ta be outta that dump but. I can't help but miss my pals. [traces a finger over the screen of the communicator] Mona, too...
