What you, my terrified friend, are in need of is most certaintly something quite easy to find, and even easier to get ahold of. At the very least, it's not likely that these people will suspect you are after this.

So, without further ado, I propose you take one bottle of rum, and perhaps another in the morning. Does wonders.

Rum? That's easy enough to find, true. You think it will keep dreams away though?

I wonder if there would be anyone who'd be willing to supervise that kind of experiment. Care to join me in a case?

It keeps most manner of other illusionary beasties away.

A case, well now lad, that I most certaintly would be willing to partake of.

Yeah, illusionary beasties I've got aplenty, friend..

Break out the spirits, I've got the cheese.

It also keeps away yourself. And people who want you to do things for them, should you use it right.

Ooh, cheese. Don't mind if I do. Drink up lad, and cure what ails you.

Hey, this is good. I wouldn't mind losing myself once in a while. Guess the ones who want things done have given up for a while...

Which goes better with rum? A nice mild Swiss, or this sharp Cheddar? Or maybe a bit of Pepper Jack...

*giggles* I said Jack...

I've found, so long as the cheese is fresh, that any goes well. It gets a bit iffy when you begin dealing with cheeses that have begun growing their own beards.

Oh, no..

Nonononono....No bearded cheeses here.

I've got the lot here, though. Have all you like. And pass the bottle? Who needs glasses...

I can get it easy enough. See this? 's a magic wand. My wand. I'm a Gizzard. I mean..Wizard.

Accio ham and bread... See? Comes right to me...

If we'd a fire, this would make lovely toasties with ham, friend..

Ah, another. I've met quite a lot of you sort these days.

Well now, I think I can do something about that. We'll just take these bits of wood here, and a bit of this as well. Pile them up, with plenty of space about them, and now for the flame. A little powder, and my flintlock..

And there, we've a fire for our meal.

Oooh, lovely. I couldn't start fires until a few days ago. 'course, now wi'this bit of rum on board, I prolly shouldn't be startin' many now, either.

'mazing, really, how this fits..cheese an' bread an' ham on a stick. Here you go...just hold it over the fire.
