Not everyone thinks the classes are a waste of time, or else they still wouldn't be offering them.
There are real Seers in the world, you know, however rare they may be.

What NEWTS are you taking?

I doubt a real seer will need something as vague as tea leaves. Those who are born are seers simply have a gift, and those who are not cannot be taught how to do it anyway.

I suppose that would depend on my O.W.Ls - [now she just looks..worried] oh I know I'll make mistakes in Ancient Runes I just know it.

Of course they can't be taught, but it never hurts to indulge them in their curiosity. If playing with tea leaves and guess what the lines on their palms mean makes them happy, why not let them have at it?

[Just...sort of stares at her.]

You haven't even taken your OWLS and you're already worried about your NEWTS?

I suppose so - if some people actually enjoy it.

Of course I do [she holds the flayers to prove her point] career choices - and of course I won't rule out any option, I already gave up Muggle Studies, I want to do my NEWTS at everything else.

You know, you still have plenty of time to figure all that out.
I mean, you're what, in fifth year? Making a career choice now is a little silly. You'll probably just end up changing your mind by the time you graduate.

Exactly! [now she looks even more stressed] just imagine how many times someone can change his mind - then the smart thing to do is to do as many NEWTs as possible, just in case.

I didn't say you weren't. Just that you might not be as sane down the road at the rate you're going.

Of course they aren't there's friendship and loyalty but -

But for now and for my NEWT's sake studies are also of high priority. [Her notes, books and table of exams is next to her and she looks at it, more than a little stressed]

Oh it's fine I think, I just finished another essay for Professor Binns. It came out a little longer than he asked, and I left out the subject of Goblins. [With an tired sigh she'll incline her head to two parchments of an essay]

A break? Well - I won't remember what I studied here back home anyway so - [and behold she is putting aside her book]
