[Remus is standing in front of a door, leaning heavily on a cane.  His face is gray, his hair limp and even with the extra support his legs are shaking.  To sum it up he looks like shite, but he's not in a hurry to run though the door where a moon waits for him either.]

[Snape held his elbow, helping to support his other side. He'd never seen Remus so weak in his life, and the idea of him going through the door was terrifying.]

It will be over soon.

I'm half tempted to just stay here and see if it's blow over in a few days. But I'm too much of a pessimist to think it would work.

I don't think your body can take any more days of this. If it happens again, we'll be better prepared to find another solution.

It took months and months for this to happen. Even if it does again twice a year is better then thirteen.

[The others had all stopped transforming. Why hadn't Remus? Until he figured that out, he was going to worry.]

Yes, definitely better. But we'll find a moon before you get this weak.

[Perhaps he spent more time going to other worlds where there is a moon then the others do?]

We'll worry about that later. Now there's this, and then Ryan's father.

Don't get too far ahead of yourself. Get through this transformation first, then we'll worry about the second.

[Remus closed his eyes, and nodded. Sev was right; it was probably better not to be thinking about that man when he was about to turn into the wolf. The wolf would sense the emotion, and it would make him more restless.]

Where the hell is Black? He is coming, right?

He said he was coming and he will. We're just a little early.

Room, a chair please.

[A comfortable chair appeared, and Snape helped Remus into it.]

Can I get you anything? Tea? Chocolate?

A little hot cocoa? It's better if I have a little something in my stomach when I... change.

[Snape requested hot cocoa and two plain biscuits from the room. He helped Remus cup both hands around his drink.]

Try and eat the biscuits as well.

I will. [But for the moment the cocoa was too warm against his fingers; he didn't want to give that small bit of warmth up.]

Have you got it? [When he was sure Remus wouldn't drop the cup, he sat back on his heels.]

Your hands are ice again. [Asking the room for a warm blanket, he settled it over Remus.]

My hands are usually ice, Sev. [He sipped the drink slowly, and when it was half gone set it on the arm of the chair to pick up his biscuit.]
