Not impossible, I suppose. Though I might have a better idea about whether it was possible or not if I had any idea what exactly a portkey was.

Ah, silly me, you're a muggle, aren't you? A portkey is just an object enchanted to bring anyone who decides to touch it to a specific location. Perhaps someone enchanted a penny and you decided to pick it up.

Oh, magic, is it? In that case, I should say it is impossible; I, ah, came here from my husband's TARDIS, you see, and I rather doubt there are many enchanted pennies lying about in the Vortex.

Hmm, of course, silly me. It stands for... oh damn, what was it- Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. Don't ask me to understand how the thing works, but suffice to say it travels in time and space. It's my husband's ship.
