Hmmm I must visit Japan someday...
Yay for a last minute trip to reunite with Wellsians!! After a couple of nonchalant phone calls, Anna swooped over to my new place and carted me off to New York to see Parentez before she went back to Japan! *happy noises* It ended up being myself, Anna, Tina, Addy, and Mystery Ben for a mini reunion. I haven't laughed so hard in ages...nothing compares to hanging out with the people who get all your inside jokes.
Still, nothing like bumming a glorious weekend high like a early monday OB appt that lasts for 3 1/2 hours. Jeebus Crispy, why would they make a pregnant woman wait that long, I was about to eat my hand i was so hungry. And after all that nonsense i still have to go back twice this week >< Le Scream. Still I got to meet my new doctor, who's freaking awesome and used to be a micro-biologist before he became a baby doctor. And even though it was a huge hassle, the peoples at L+M already treat me more like a human being on my first visit than Backus did the entire 8 months i was there. Thank you circumstance.
Tomorrow is Tim's birthday...i dont have a fing clue what to get him, not that i have the money or the ability to sneak away and buy him a present. I'm thinking maybe the best gift is "couple time". Still i wish i could at least get him a cake. Blast for being poor ><
Speaking of events...
My step mother is actually throwing me a Baby Shower, this Saturday, which was wholly unexpected since I didnt expect to have one at all. But it seems everytime she does something really awesome it has to be taken with a grain of salt, such as if she fails to contact a friend of mine on the first try, she gives up or says i should do it, which means ive done have the invitation work for her... I wish i knew how these things worked better >< Still i am excited and hope most of my peoples can make it. Here's hoping.
