Ack its almost 2008 >
Holy shit i haven't posted in a while.
Been working hellish hours in the hilariously entertaining world of retail...god i need to get out of retail.
I miss my peeps, I havent even had the chance to hang out with anyone for several weeks.
Tim and i have been slowly settling into life at the Jacques house as we prepare to buy the house from my parents come summer next year. Its gonna be a big leap in responsibility but we have an even bigger one to handle in the meantime. I think I am now in the clear to share with everyone that Tim and I are expecting our first child in June. Its already been a bumpy and scary journey with some really close calls. After a really dangerous sickness earlier in the month and an emergency ultra sound on Christmas Eve for abnormalities, Tim and I had the big relief to find we have a healthy and developing wee one. It appears to be a boy though we wont know 100% until next month at the follow up ultra sound. But we made it the first trimester, and despite all the scares, it looks like im going to make it to term with smoother sailing from this point. Im finally over the crippling morning sickness which i am so happy about. I dont know how each of my grandmothers had four kids -.-
I finally have a mini vacation in the middle of all things hectic and hellish to catch up with a lil bit of social life. I miss my wells girls terribly and want to come up for a New York, (and possibly Vermont for a certain ole roomy) visit in January. It all depends on funds and time, I say as I look for the cushy desk job of my dreams. Christmas provided some funds which will of course immediately go into paying bills (*@#$) but hopefully we will be able to put enough aside to pay at least for gas on a car trip :P
I've set up an office to write and work in in my walk in closet. It is cozy and small and I keep Jess Beast's poster on the wall in front of me for inspiration, as well as some special Yuko artwork ;]. It keeps the writing bug biting and i hope to finish up some projects by the spring (heres hoping!!)
