Isn't She Lovely?
I found myself torn between lusting over the Victoria's Secret Angels on the cover of September GQ, and cooing over photos of Alexis Bledel from the NYC premiere of the Sisterhood of Traveling Pants 2. Best known for her role as Rory Gilmore in Gilmore Girls, Alexis' ensemble would be my definition of red carpet perfect. Sure, I'm a big fan of colour, and brave wardrobe choices would land you on gossip rag covers, but when you're at the premiere of a movie you're starring in, you want to make sure everything is in order.
Alexis does it just right in a little black Mischen dress with fab detailing, a gold clutch and sexy Azzedine Alaia shoes. Yes, this is the way to do trends - don't go overboard, it's one at at a time. My absolute favourite part of her look is her perfect hot pink pout. Eclectic, girly with a dash of class - can't get any better, I say!
