Shanghai Goes Boutique

One of the many things that made my Shanghai trip amazing was my stay at JIA. Thanks to Yenn and the good people at the JIA Group who are also responsible for the world class JIA Hong Kong, and soon, JIA Krabi, I had the luxury of a complimentary two-night stay in their balcony suite.

And my god, what a hotel it was! Design whores would either keel over and die from sheer delight, or just be showered with one earth-shattering orgasms after another.

And their sweet suite? From an amazing bed [best bed I've ever slept on!], to two Plasma television screens in the room, free wireless internet all over the hotel, a kickass gym, homely breakfast, impeccable service and they've Monopoly China board game in the room! Couldn't get any better, let me tell you that!

One of my favourite things about the hotel was the little details they injected to give the hotel personality. The toothbrush & toothpaste set was called a Smile Kit, for example, and the obligatory Do Not Disturb sign? In JIA, it's the Seriously Need Sleep sign. Teehee.

And here's my first video blog: a tour of the fab room. Excuse the bed head, the Juicy Couture sweats and the blocked nose - it was very early on a Saturday morning, post-clubbing and pre-photo shoot.

What do you think? Should video blogs be a frequent feature on TheDramaDiaries? Should TheDramaDiaries go video in Spain? ;o) Let me know what you think, or email me!
