"It's hardly fair, hmm?"

Remus glanced up from his seat by the fire and managed to look both grateful at her and distastefully at the goblet she handed him at the same time. "What is?"

"The blue moon. Doesn't seem right you should have to do this twice in one month."

"Doesn't happen often," Remus pointed out, swirling the contents of the goblet as if adding oxygen to the mix would somehow make the Wolfsbane less foul. "The last one was years ago. During the war."

She put a hand on his shoulder. "Drink."

He drank.

Then he wiped his mouth and said quietly, "I dare say it tastes better the way you make it than when Severus did."

She laughed lightly. "You know it's exactly the same."

"He probably added something to make it worse."

"Perhaps, I wouldn't put it past him."

He handed the goblet back to her. "Hermione?"

"Hmm?" She turned, having already taken a step towards her coat.

"It was nice... to have your company. Twice in one month."

Her eyes twinkled. "Well, then. We shan't wait for the next blue moon for that, then."

I don't know how when you write these two it's sweet, and when I try it's just dirty and bound to get me banned from lj.
