Man, am I relieved... Judgement Day is almost here!
We got a flier in the mail today at work. T -354 days until the end of creation! Whew! Apparently, the Rapture will begin on 21 May 2011 and all of creation will end 21 October 2011.
I guess we'll never get to those Halloween costumes we were planning... Dammit.

I certainly hope to be 'left behind' so that the crazies will just be gone and away.
Of course, from my experience, every time someone lays down a date like this, they're always embarrassed by the results. It's happened with meteors, with hippies on the internet, and with all sorts of cults. My uncle told me in 1986 that Judgement Day was 2000. I was scared as a little kid. I'd never make it past 23.
I'm 32 now... still tickin'. I have learned since 1986 that religions are generally nuts and just prey on people's fears. It makes me sad because many of them used to do so much good.
This reminds me, maybe I should get Judgement Day's soundtrack. I never saw the (Stallone) movie, but the Cure's on the soundtrack!
