Don't turn me off comedians!
Like many Frankie Boyle fans, I have been impatiently waiting for his sketch show Tramadol Nights. The reviews of fans are in and it's not good. I have now watched it myself and there is no new material and the sketches are bad. I am kind of getting annoyed with these repeated jokes.
I couldn't watch his recent stand up the whole way through just because the jokes were old and it felt as if he wasn't trying hard at all. I mean it has been almost 3 years since Jade Goody died, can we give it a rest? Making fun of a long dead woman isn't humorous. Find a new punching bag Frankie.
As a result I have put other videos on hold, which I have been avoiding (though I had reassurances from its fans that they are good) and now I am deeply worried about Noel Fielding's upcoming sketch show.
I guess in my mind I have been hyping Tramadol Nights too much.
