Long lost parents
I first watched the Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2006 and 2007 earlier this year for the Goth Detectives. It is a testament to its popularity that almost 3-4 years later I can still get them so easily whereas other, much newer shows are more difficult to find. I am looking at you Lab Rats.
While I was cleaning downstairs, I listened to Russell Brand's podcast. Big mistake. His anecdote about auditioning for a boyband made me laugh so hard I fell on the floor and started rolling around when I was cleaning the house. I was so glad no one else was home, otherwise they would have thought I had gone mad.
I got another stand up DVD. Ever since my disappointment with Frankie Boyle's DVD. I am very reluctant to watch it tbh. Those old jokes were funny but they were dated and felt too familiar from his previous DVD or even from his time at Mock the Week, which was few years ago. But eventually I will watch them both.
I love tumblr. I could spend all day staring at beautiful people *coughnerdycomedianscough*. I demand the geek calendar this Christmas-Eid.
I just can't get over the fact that Chris Addison is the same age as my mum. Took me quite a while to absorb that information. Still can't believe it smh. I have this odd mental system where I note how old my fave celebrities are in relation to my parents. When I realised Noel and Julian have the same age difference as my parents (I am quite good at maths you know) I instantly thought, "they could be my parents!" Imagine that....
OMG!!! Fry and Laurie reunion coming up! What a Fry and Laurie year. First Stephen's biography, seeing him live this year and now this. I love them too much, ever since I had discovered them (thanks to Digby Chicken Caesar) I always watch the show when I am upset and it takes them 5 minutes to completely cheer me up. I can't wait for this tv special. I hope those people in the UK quickly upload this ASAP so I can watch it hopefully by Thursday night!!! Yes they are my other set of parents, though the role of mum and dad is more obscure between these two...
Just discovered that Fry and Laurie and the Boosh have lived in the same house. I would have screamed if the rest of the house wasn't asleep. Must find this house and worship it, hoping it would pass on some of its creative juju.
Anyone who doesn't like ABOFAL and Saturday Night Fry are the biggest drips and Stephen aka his loveliness hates you.
