For those who arn't going out of town, or who are coming back to town...
TUESDAY MARCH 14TH, 2006.
I will be turning 21. And I am having a big show/party to celebrate. I'd also like everyone to come! If you haven't come to any of my shows before, just come to this one. It's more of a dance party anyway, not just a show. But anyway, here's all the info:
Turntablist Mantis Claw is going to be playing the bumpin' grooves all night long. Funk, hip-hop, jazz, R&B... he'll be doin it all!!
In addition, 3 fantastic bands are playing. The very energetic and sexy Sole Funktion will be tearing it up with their amazing funky rock riffs. My band Dynagroove!, a 9-piece "funk-based multi-genre fusion" tour-de-force will perform. In addition, the valleys very talented and successful reggae/ska/hip-hop/rock band Haffo will also be playing!
3 great bands, a killer DJ, one huge venue with a wonderful bar, and great food! This will not only be one of the best birthday parties ever, but this will just be an amazing show for the phoneix area in general. If you don't wanna come to celebrate my b-day, come to support the local music scene!
The show starts promptly at 7pm. Dressing up in semi-formal/clubbing attire is highly suggested. The show is all ages as well, so everyone can come. Admission is $7, unless you're already that magic number or older, then it's just a stunningly low $5!!
Seriously, not many shows like this happen anymore, and fewer for that great of a deal.
So I look forward to seeing many familar faces! I don't care if your a current friend, an old friend, someone I've been fighting with, or someone I love... I want to just get a chance to say hi, catch up, and have some fun!
