To Vid ' ships' or not ....
And we're not talking Titanic (he dies at the end, you know)
I was just pondering on my next vid project and I was very aware that I have not edited a 'shippy' vid for the whedonverse in say, at least four years? I mention it on last years vidding meme , in 2009 and in 2008.
There are at least four songs on the 'to do' list with a possibly two more. And they're good ones too.
Why am I not taking my own advice? I don't consider myself a shipper of any particular pairing to the point of hating others, Is it because I don't want to dip my toe in the water full of devoted Spuffys, Fuffies, Bangels, Cangels & Wangels (is that one real I thought I made it up, but it could be Wes/Angel) recently stimulated by some 'interesting' events in Season Eight. Or that it's been so long I've forgotten how to edit this type of vid?
I did make Alive which covers a relationship (canon) but that's House of Flying Daggers. And you can't really call a Dean/Impala vid as a true relationship vid, can you?.
So to summarize :
Plan A - play the songs on repeat until I chose one that inspires to the point of ripping clips.
Plan B - Tired of songs so bail and pick something completely different.
It would be nice to have something started before Vidukon, so at least I could say I was working on a project.
