Belated Birthday Greetings to
'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' - Ok so it didn't hit these shores until a little later but I can't imagine how my life would be without it. All the friends I have made, both off and online, all the new skills and rekindled interests that the fandom has inspired , all the money I have spent......
It's all been worth it. I would have loved to have celebrated on the 10th with a marathon viewing session but it's been a weekend of family visitors and I'm still reeling from the week away. I may try to sneak an epi in tonight.
Off to Glasgow on Friday to meet up with
mara_sho for the Serenity Quabed Convention. Travelling with my compatriot
acrazywench and looking forward to the weekend. Bit of a low key guest list for a Flan gig but I am sure we will still have a blast.
So excited that Charisma Carpenter is down to attend Collectormania in May this year - I've booked a photo session to make sure I meet her - that will complete the Angel Cast line up. I hear she is not so much 'into' the fan thing ( we may scare her a little) , not like say James Marsters or Nathan Fillion who seem to love it (as long as you don't touch their butt or ask them to strip) so I am not expecting her to be overly enthusiastic but who cares?
charmax tagged me on the Top Five of your vids meme - I want to do my list so I will post that later. I haven't opened WMM in anger since I have had my system back and really want to start on something other than editing home movies - my time will be a precious commodity soon so I need to choose the next project wisely. I feel the need to start something light and fluffy.
