well i stumbled across the first video because there's been some controversy for a recent snl sketch. i guess somebody sampled aphex twin and didn't get permission. big no no. and well, i love aphex twin and this song. so here it appears.
as for an artist that got permission to use a sample, kanye west and daft punk? are you serious. when i first heard this song the other evening, it blew my mind. i'm not a big kanye west fan, but really? daft punk? wow. i'm really impressed by this song. who cares what he's rapping about...something about kate moss and christian dior, BUT THE MUSIC! reall nice. i'm sold. i'm about this close to picking up his cd. another video of his from the same album was designed by a guy from ed banger records, which is pretty sweet. the video is good life feat. t-pain. the song is pretty decent but the video is pretty cool too.

thank god for youtube. or else my lj's would be boring sometimes. at least there would be a lot less media. meh.
as for me. i am waiting to hear from people about a job a conner prairie. which is exciting. i think i can do marketing. i can write. i'm an actor so i think i can work with those bits and make things look better than they might be. who knows? does that make me a liar? i dunno.
