These are a few of my most well tolerated things.
Walking home in the rain tonight, I thought about things that I liked that I didn't notice that often, and decided to list them, since there were a lot:
*The way plastic bags float around on the street when cars pass
*The way my cat's eyes reflect light back at me when she's outside my glass door
*Finding shapes in the fake marble in my mom's bathroom (so far I've found a one-eyed dog and a sheep.)
*The way water rolls off my fake AE dock martins.
*The tree lights in the Sanctuary
*The "secret" spot at Sunset Point
*The way the colors of granola, strawberries, and blueberries look great together.
*Getting new underwear/sketchbooks/hair ties/toothpaste(unopened)
*Catching the beginning of a movie on IFC/Sundance
*The way my dog runs down stairs
*When my Color Guard squad takes our flags down without me asking them.
*The giant patches of clover that are everywhere at school now. Utterly fantastique!
*Getting nice instant messages from people I haven't talked to in a while.
*Bull-shitting a question/essay/exam and getting it right.
*People that wink
*raccoons/opossums that eat our catfood.
*Finding that last seventy-five cents in the bottom of my bag to buy a pop
*Hearing nice things about myself that I wasn't meant to hear
*Confessions to and from old crushes (like from 6th grade)
*Walking into my house when it's cold to the smell of great food
*cinnamon rolls
*When Launch picks out great songs I haden't heard in ages.
*Starting new paintings
*waking up at 6 AM, rolling over and going back to sleep for another half hour before I have to get up.
*Finding money/old ticket stubs in pockets of old coats.
*Doodling on my sex ed. packets until I come up with a good idea for a piece
*knowing how to perform the "dap," which I was accosted with by a sophomore yesterday.
*Being asked for my opinion.
*The way sidewalks look liquid when it rains.
*People that talk in tongues
*And...having time to write in my livejournal, for once in a million years...
