Meep! Meep! Feeble...

OK, it's 7 am, haven't slept and am in fact wired after drinking around a litre of Dr Pepper.... nothing better to do so I decided to get around to posting.

FINALLY finished that Tau squad. Figured out that they only take so d@mn long is that the green paint is too thin and needs at least two coats, but after that's done they're done dead quick. With respects to the Tau army, I still have LOTS to do still (12 more Firewarriors, 3 Broadsides, 6 Crisis Suits (inc. commander), 3 Hammerheads (may use one as a Devilfish), many Gun Drones and a lot of Kroot (plus Hounds, Ox and Anghor Pohk). Slightly daunted by this, I painted something else instead- a pair of miniatures from the Street Wars deals from the Wargames Foundry called Miss Heaven and Miss Hell, basically a couple of girls with guns, dressed in halloween outfits (Angel and Devil respectively), which worked out quite well. Will hopefully get back to the Tau soon, and then finish my Dwarves (Only the Hammerers and a bunch of second hand ones left, then I get to repaint more clansmen, cannons and slayers).

On the job front, still not much luck. My one glimmer of hope so far is that a potential employer has contacted me about a job I applied for a while ago as a trainee graphic designer, which is cool. Hopefully they'll send me more info soon, I'd really like to get this job!

So, in order to better my chances, I've been brushing up my skills by making some graphics and getting around to doing more work on my websites. Hoping to finally get BrainDump(): out of the design phase, but need more content for that.

My Evil Campaign at WARPS has been going well, my players are doing a good job of staying within character most of the time and are actually plotting and scheming! Rather than the usual 'we go to the dungeon and beat up the monsters' campaigns DnD tends to get. I just hope I don't fall more behind on writing up missions and stuff, cause it leads to more giddy insomnia-filled nights as I try to come up with ideas.

New gamage goodness too! Just got hold of Godzilla: Destroy all Monsters Melee on the GameCube, and it's a lot of fun. Unfortunately it doesn't take long to unlock all the characters (about 3 days, Super Smash Brothers Melee took weeks to do the same) but it's still great to pick up buildings and throw them around casually. A lot better than the last game I pre-ordered (UT2k3) and I'll probably be playing it lots cause Multiplayer is cool.

Been helping Pedgey with ine of his projects too. 'tis a game called Fantasy Quest Online, basically an MORPG (the 'Massively' is missed intentionally, there'll only be 5 or so players in any particular game). After creating your character, you'll enter a tavern (server) of your choosing and gather a party of fellow adventurers to enter the ruins of an ancient city, find treasure and kick monster butt. Anyway, I'm helping out with graphics, concepts, plot and playtesting when we get a working version of the game engine. Knowing me and my big mouth, I'll probably end up offering to make the inevitable website too :) Still. at least it's good for me portfolio.

Anyway, must be off. Jackson's is open and I feel blood seeping into my caffine stream...
