Summary: Kaoru struggles with a can of soup, the twins find each other and there is happy and joy and D’AWW.

Although he was greatly softened by Kaoru's reaction, he couldn't help but be . . . well, Hikaru. He was immensely worried, impulsively holding Kaoru tighter when the boy's grip grew more desperate. "What's wrong, Kaoru?" The redhead said this quietly yet sternly, needing an answer. Why was he acting like this? First the encounter with Saya and Koizumi, now this . . . It was all too confusing to bear.

And again, he repeated his plea. "Why would I leave you, Kaoru?" He said softly through half-way lidded eyes, gazing down at him. "I will never leave you." We're only going to leave when we get out of this place. So determined; so convinced.

"And why is your uniform such a mess? Tono won't be very happy. We'll need to get that washed," He stated lightly. There was all this nasty gook on it. Yes, one can always count on Hikaru to bring up the trivial things in times of a crisis.

But then his brother pulled away, just when he thought that he'd never let go. Hikaru straightened, blinking his amber eyes. Why didn't he say something? Why was he looking at him like that?

". . I-It's true, isn't it? Kaoru wouldn't lie to me." He observed, biting his lip when he finished. It couldn't be. It's not. But this was his brother . . . The boy put his hands on his brother's shoulders once more, gripping them with careful firmness. "Tell me, Kaoru. Tell me, please." Now it was his turn for his eyes to be pleading.
