Mio had been upset by the sight of the ghost boy's corpse as well, probably more than she should have been. She had a special kind of bond with that boy, one that most people couldn't have understand, and it had almost been more than she could tolerate. If Zetsu hadn't been there...she wasn't sure she would have been able to. Even worse was the thought, the distinct possibility, of eventually finding her...if that happened...Mio wasn't sure she could handle that. The idea was terrifying. She was lucky that Zetsu had been around, to be able to console her as he did. Even in his troubled state (she was starting to worry about him, too, with the condition he was in) he'd managed to calm her down, at least enough to where she was stable...

She didn't feel like he should have been the one doing the comforting, though, not when he was already doing so much for her. Even now he was protecting her, even though she was too scared to do anything herself, but she was too worried to stay behind. Those nurses - she didn't know what to do, what she could do other than try to avoid getting in his way and let him fix everything. She was trying to do that now, she'd even managed to keep herself from screaming as she backed into one of the hanging corpses, a difficult task for her. It looked like he was almost done, though, a-and everything would be fine after that, right? He'd be able to take care of himself and that'd be fine, because things always turned out alright when Zetsu was there. She knew that.

So since it was almost over, since things would be fine...why couldn't she shake off the foreboding feeling that'd worked it's way over her?
