The image of the man, as projected through the 'eyes' of the cat was...certainly different than what he'd imagined. Perhaps not totally so, but he'd really had nothing to base his guesses on, before hand. If anything, the mental image was modelled after what few damaged photos of his father had been lying around. Not as if it particularly mattered, but...at the same time it was strangely comforting to finally have a proper face to put to the name of the man he'd been spending so much time with - and to whom he'd gotten far more attached than probably would have been expected.
"Mr. Lorenzo..." he mumbled, pulling the cat to his chest a little bit more, subconsciously. With his soul divided like this, he found it quite desirable to hold the object close to him. His cheeks flushed slightly at the comment, even as he moved a bit closer, himself. His steps were at least in the right direction, even if they did have a bit of clumsiness to them. He stopped before he got too close, though, mumbling another reply.
"I-I'm sorry..."
