Zetsu had been willing enough to follow; it was a curious thing to see, the outside of their grandiose cage, small though it was. He'd never been on a floating island before--never really been high in the air at all, save particularly tall trees and mountains, and neither of those really seemed to compare to this at all. He was even willing to stay outside for as long as they needed, to investigate and photograph the full outside of the house. Hopefully at some point, it might be useful information ( ... )

Mio wanted it to be worth it, too. She was hoping it would be, the two of them (mostly Zetsu) freezing out here for nothing would have been disappointing. Her cheeks tinted pink at the approval and she smiled a little herself, folding her hands over her camera. "I-I'm glad." She was glad for his assurance that he was doing well, too. She hadn't noticed the blackening just yet, but she worried about the plant man. As he mentioned the house's appearance she gave him a nod, "It is..." It was pretty on the outside. Honestly, it was hard to tell went on...not unlike All God's Village, in life and death. It was such a nice, quaint little village, after it'd fallen into despair ( ... )

"Hmm?" Zetsu was stirred from his musings about the house by Mio remembering about the islands, and turned to look out at them with her, silently watching as the pictures were taken. He accepted the photo, examining it curiously; it really didn't give much of a better idea than the naked eye did.... but he was glad to have it, regardless. "I don't know.... Maybe there are other houses there, with similar things happening?" He suggested, shrugging. "Maybe there's just bare land, and this one is the only one actually occupied. Or there could be some sort of transportation on them--a way to get from island to island, and maybe back to a mainland, if there even is one...."

He shifted his leaves gingerly as he considered. "Hopefully we will sometime soon...."

"Mainland...?" Mio repeated with some confusion. She'd remained otherwise silent, only nodding occassionally, but that statement had been somehow unexpected. She hadn't thought of it before, but that was a distinct possibility. "I wonder if there is one..." It was harder to imagine than it should have been. She wondered if that was because how long they'd been here. It didn't feel as though she should already be feeling that way, although somehow she did, and she kept the thought to herself. She wasn't sure how well it would be taken. "Hopefully..." She nodded in agreement, taking one of his sleeves in hand and giving it a gentle tug to signify she wanted to move on.

"I hope there is." Zetsu sighed, stretching his leaves a little and giving them a shake to dislodge the fresh powder of snow that had fallen on and in them. It didn't help that wearing such an open collar invited snow to get stuck in between his leaves and his body, and fall down into his cloak..... He shivered in spite of himself. "A mainland might actually have people, and some form of transportation...." A boat would be nice, even. Or a carriage, or.... something. He'd give a lot for one of Deidara's clay birds right now.

Accepting Mio's tug, Zetsu turned away from the view, ready to move on and see whatever else they needed to see.
