"I suppose..." Fiona didn't sound entirely convinced, but she didn't care enough to pursue the subject further than her inital quick question. The heiress just didn't have it in her anymore. Instead she just listened, nodding when appropriate as Courtney spoke. Chills ran down her spine as she remembered that woman and what she'd done to Nozomu and Naotaka...that was one thing she wasn't sure she'd recover from. It was for that reason that her response was distant, even half-hearted, in regards tow what the basement was, only offering a simple "Probably." She hadn't inspected the area herself to get a better look at it, not caring to poke around dark places anymore.

The sudden appearance of another person was temporarily alerting, especially given Courtney's insistence on yanking her back, something that caused her to stumble and all but lose her balance. Regaining her balance she gave the woman that had suddenly appeared a look, strangely comforted to see that it was another woman. Her rather startling entrance could easily be accounted to as one of the house's workings, especially given that coming here...it'd just felt like she'd slipped. Courtney seemed to have enough of a handle on the situation to where she could stay silent at first, unquestioning, but at some point the woman reluctantly spoke up, "Are...you okay?" There was no need to be hostile towards her right off the bat, right?
