Keigo blinked and watched as the redhead turned around, brandishing a very intimidating sword, to which Keigo flinched and held his hands up. "EEEE!! D-d-d-d-d-d-don't! I come in peace!!" The freshest memories of Shinigami that Keigo had in his mind were those of Ikkaku-san whacking him upside the head with a bokken, so Keigo's automatic assumption was that all Shinigami must have some weird violent streak about them.

But, after a moment, the Shinigami seemed to lose the will to inflict bodily harm on him and Keigo sighed deeply as the sword was lowered. A hand dropped to clench at his chest, the other sliding over his face. "A-ahahaha.. You.. s-shouldn't point that thing at unsuspecting civilians..!"

But, the Shinigami was shouting and Keigo jolted in place, his eyes wide. "..a-a-a-ah?? Y-y-y-y-y-yes, that was me!" He responded without much thought, either. He could have been talking about another classroom, after all. But, maybe he saw him..? Or maybe he was a friend of Ikkaku-san's? Just to make sure, he gave the Shinigami a good look. Red hair, pulled back into a pony tail.. and a bandanna... and what appeared to be tattoos.. oh!

Keigo lifted his hand up and pointed at the Shinigami, mouth agape, "...y-y-y-you! Y-y-you.. you were one of those new students!!!" He felt something sink in his stomach. "Y-y-you're a Shinigami, too?!"

After a moment, the Shinigami's question finally clicked in Keigo's head and he sputtered, "I-I don't know! I was at this .. this creepy guy's shop and we followed Ichigo and he disappeared with Chad and that stupid Ishida and and...! T-then.." He trailed off, looking peaked and sort of sick. Too much going on at once, and now he couldn't remember what happened! Without much warning, Keigo sunk to the floor and sat back down. "... T-this.. this isn't Hell, is it??"

Renji tried to not roll his eyes and failed before he brought Zabimaru down to re-sheath him. The human looked like he was about to have a heart attack over something as little as his sword being out, and it would have been amusing if Renji wasn't wondering where the hell they were.

When his suspicions were confirmed, Renji felt slightly better about the situation> Sort of. Until he realized that now he had one of Ichigo's friends on his hands and no idea where they were. He did have to laugh, however, at how surprised Keigo was. "Yeah me, too. The disguise was pretty good though huh?" It hadn't been his idea but he had thought they looked pretty normal.

Except for Ikkaku's lack of shoes. But no one was going to force him into wearing clothing he didn't want.

He listened to the rest of Keigo's story with some surprise. "Creepy guy..? Oh. That bastard Urahara." Renji still wasn't on the best of terms with that man, but from that information it meant that.. "So you're from.. right before Ichigo and them left for Hueco Mundo. That wasn't too long ago."

He didn't know what exactly to make of Keigo sitting on the floor but he knew it wasn't time to be doing it. "No you dumbass, this isn't hell. Hell looks very different from this- now get up. We need to find a way out of here." Renji looked around again just in case something had decided to sneak up on him- it wasn't a good idea to stay relaxed in unfamiliar places.
