Unfortunately, that was much easier said than done, and God forbid anything attack her on her way. She'd be useless in a fight at the moment, and that stung at her pride something awful. Her chain hung uselessly from her other hand, crusted in dried and burnt blood and parts of flesh, and Minako felt the urge to throw it down the hallway. If it weren't her best weapon, she'd do more than consider it.
Taking it off of the burn had quite possibly hurt worse than the actual burn itself, because it had had to be peeled off. True, it had been her only choice of defense at the time, but the mix of pain, fatigue, and fear was making Sailor Venus more than a little cranky. Just a bit. If she could only get back to her room...
A few more agonizing minutes later, the Senshi found herself at the doorway and opened the door. She more or less fell in as it swung inside, her legs nearly collapsing from under her, and the injuries on her torso screamed in pain. She had to clench her jaw and squeeze her eyes shut to keep from screaming right along with them.

What had happened exactly? Michiru didn't know. There was a disconnect from the moment she tripped during her turn, and the moment she found herself on the floor of an entrance hall. One minute she'd been practicing on the stage in her school's auditorium, the next she was running for her life from some crazy dog thing.
Scouring the divide in her memory, Michiru dimly wondered if Mairead Nesbitt had ever tripped and had something like this happen to her on stage. No, probably not. Michiru was a Sailor Senshi; weird things came to her like moths to a flame.
She'd already transformed into Sailor Neptune, but found herself fighting against things that apparently refused to die. So she ran blindly, still ridiculously clutching her violin. She had met no others in this dark, twisting building, and nor had she been able to find a way out, or a way back to the auditorium.
Racing down a hallway, Michiru heard something that sounded like footsteps, or a dragging sound. Someone else, or another monster? She stopped runnng, and began walkng slowly and carefully towards the noise.
There was a door open in this hallway. Someone was leaning against it - someone whom Michiru recognized, to her shock.
She raced down the hallway. "Venus!"
Coming to a stop, her eyes widened. Minako looked terrible.
"Minako - what happened?" she asked, reaching a hand up to lay it on the other senshi's shoulder, then rethinking it.
