Characters: Subject Delta, OPEN.
Setting: Entrance Room/Grand Room.
Time: Night 019.
Summary: Delta's arrival.
Warnings: None at the moment.
A few loud thuds resonated through the area next to the entrance room, followed by an frustrated growl. Delta was trying to break down the door to outside to no avail. He stepped back and slammed his shoulder into the heavy wood. Nothing happened other than a substantial sound. The armor-clad man backed up and tried again. This time he hurt himself in the process. He staggered back, holding his damaged shoulder.
Damnit. There wasn't a way out. Why did he expect to find a way out? He was probably dead, and this was probably some kind of afterlife. The poor ol' thing felt a great black pit in his chest. He missed his daughter. If this was the land of the dead, he wouldn't find her here. Still, he didn't want her here. She deserved to see the sun and live her life on the surface. He only wished he could have survived alongside her.
He turned around to look out at the Grand Room. The whole place seemed ethereal and frightening. Heaven would be nothing like this. Nervously he plodded forward and flickered the lights on his helmet on. Was there even anyone else here? He passed through the entrance to the much larger room. Methodically he glanced around, sweeping the area for threats. It seemed quiet now.
