Though when Mello said something about the voices, Oz grew a bit more serious. He had heard the voices, but tried to block them out the most he could, only hearing the most grotesque of screams and calls of agonizing pain. He tried his best to block out the other voices who seemed to go on and on about stories of pain and suffering. Before speaking again to Mello, he listen closely.
". . .So I'm not going crazy?" He asked, adverting his eyes and giving a weak smile. His mood growing a bit solemn. "Listening to their stories now, and if you hear them, too, what I thought they were couldn't actually be it." He looked back up at the other. "Do you know what they are?" He looked at the bandages again, as another beetle unknowingly perched on his arm.
"And if you don't mind me asking, what did that?" This time, the bug clamping down on his shoulder. At the sudden surge of pain, the boy ripped the bug off of his arm and threw it against the floor. Stupid bugs.
