Rain, rain, go away... [Active/Open]
Characters: Miku Hinasaki and Mafuyu Hinasaki and open
Setting: mother's study
Time: Day 018
Summary: Miku finds a sleeping Mafuyu! Also maybe grinners idefk.
Warnings: None for now.
There was something wrong here.
Miku was exhausted, physically and mentally. There was a lethargic feeling, along with the tiredness. She probably hadn't slept in days (relatively speaking, of course). She was too scared to. There was something - something - wrong, despite the light filtering through the windows from outside. She might have heard something, she might be hearing things. But there was something wrong, dangerous. Could she hide out and avoid sleep for much longer? She'd all ready been forced to take a few naps, and surviving off of tea and fear... well, she obviously couldn't keep running like that forever.
To occupy herself, she was cautiously exploring. She was hesitant, for fear of running into... whatever it was that was in the house, but staying idle seemed like no better a promise of safety. She just couldn't shake the feeling.
With that thought in mind, she entered the study, just to do a cursory glance, maybe to see if there was anything she might have missed in the past. There had been that closed off closet, before... The faint tune of a lullaby played out in her head, from the past.
And then something did catch her eye - someone. Mafuyu was there, asleep at the desk of the study, probably having fallen asleep while working on something. "Mafuyu," she blurted out, unable to stop herself, even as she felt her heart stop. She hadn't seen him in so long - she couldn't have shaken the worry if she tried - but it was in part for good reason. If he figured out that "something's wrong" with her...
If she kept speaking without wanting to, that might be too easy.
