Grand Room [Complete, Closed]

Summary: Machi plays the piano and Honey and Joey and some others enter the Grand Room.

The Grand Room filled with the sound of the piano, the notes swelling and rippling down the hallway as Machi's small fingers played over the keys masterfully and without flourish. He smiled faintly, enjoying the ease and grace with which he could play the perfectly tuned instrument, exercising the one talent and skill with which he was really equipped--that is, music. There was no sheet music on the stand, but that was perfectly fine--Machi had never learned to read sheet music particularly well and in fact had always played at concerts without it. The reason, of course, was that he was blind. He was really just killing time, however--doing something productive while he thought about his problem. The problem was: first--he had to get out of a house with an externally locked door, and the solution was probably to explore the house until he found a window to crawl out or... you know, another door that wasn't locked. The second problem was what to do with the gun so that Phoenix--or Trucy--wouldn't catch him with it. ... or even someone else, as he was making his way home. This kind of problem was not the type of thing Machi had woken up this morning prepared to handle and he frankly didn't think he could get rid of the gun without permanently losing it.
He'd finish this song and then get up and do some exploring himself, he decided. Enough time had probably passed that he wouldn't run into that terrified girl or have something else happen that would develop into an awkward situation.
