On Restful Nights and the Onset of Starvation [Active, Open]

Summary: Having claimed a bedroom, Cybersix gets some well-deserved rest with Data 7 before meeting up with other residents.

Of all the things she could have brought, Cybersix wish she had a watch of some kind... some way of keeping track of how long she'd been here. For sure, her sleeping pattern was off by miles - with packs of hellhounds wandering around at random, she had to be quick on her feet and not drift off for too long. And now, in this strange pink bedroom, she'd found some respite, sleeping like a dead thing in the immensely comfortable bed. Data 7 was much the same, curled up on the carpeted floor and sleeping, but with one ear cocked up for any noises outside.
To give themselves a bit of respite, Cybersix had done some rearranging of furniture: With her strength, she was able to effortlessly move the nightstand so that it was propped up under the door, its weight supporting the door so it wouldn't break down under the weight of rampaging hellhounds. So far, it had worked, and though Data 7 woke up from time to time as his ears pricked up noise outside, up till then there'd been no incident whatsoever.
But no peace could last at night time in the mansion. As the pair would soon find out, no room was without its oddities, and the Lavender Bedroom was home to a curious spirit of sorts. In the midst of his slumber, the slumbering panther found himself stirring suddenly to a faint noise, and his yellow eyes flicked open as it looked around the room. Somewhere, a little girl was softly giggling. Alarmed, the panther stood up with a low growl, casting to and fro about the room as it searched for the source of the noise.
It was around then that Cybersix came back to her senses, standing up from the bed. "What is it, Data 7?" she asked, concerned. "Trouble?" The panther only looked at her for a minute, before putting his nose to the ground, sniffing around the room. "Something here in the room?" She asked, glancing around with a furrowed brow as she stepped out of the bed, quickly blinking the fatigue out of her eyes as she prepared herself for trouble.
Unfortunately, trouble came in a less deadly, but all-too-familiar problem: As she took a step forward, blue sparks of electricity coursed painfully up and down the woman's arm, the symptoms of Sustenance deprivation - Sustenance, the essential drug needed for creations like Cybersix to survive. Surprised by the sudden shock, she couldn't help but cry out: "Aaagh!" Stumbling, she leaned heavily against the wall, then placing her hands on the nightstand in front of the door, breathed in and out carefully. As this happened, Data 7 turned to her with a growl in his throat - which, in his way, was both a noise of concern and a warning tone to keep quiet. As he watched her, Cybersix whispered, "This is... going to be a problem, very soon..." As far as she'd seen, none of Von Reichter's creations had followed her into this place. Could it be she'd been trapped here only to die of starvation?
There was nothing left to it; she'd have to start searching again. "Come on, Data 7," she spoke to her partner in a low voice. "Rest time's over... we better get back to searching this house." She looked thoughtful, furrowing her brow. They'd found a hospital bedroom on this floor, but the medical supplies in the room were limited, to say the least... and no vials of Sustenance lying around. But if her arrival here wasn't an accident, surely there was some way she could stay alive? Unless being alive here wasn't an actual requirement...
Resolutely, Cybersix gathered her strength and took hold of the nightstand, dragging it away from the door. Listening quietly at the door for any sign of noise, she then turned the door handle and stepped out into the hallway, her panther companion not far behind her.
