Ruffles and Laces and Candy-Sweet Faces [active/closed]
Characters: Break mostly. Also Watanuki, Mio, Miku, and Pipe Fox.
Setting: Basement Labs
Time: Night 14, midish night
Summary: Break is the Phantasms' bitch. That's about the size of it. Plot also happens in the course of him repeatedly having this fact demonstrated for his benefit.
Warnings: PLOT PLOT PLOT-- also Phantasms. And gruesome, graphic, horrible torture and violence.
Break's exploration would give him little information about his environment, unfortunately enough. His footsteps echoed crisply on the linoleum, the sound bouncing off of the many cold, hard surfaces in the room; unfortunately, it seemed to be built for efficiency, rather than comfort, and there seemed to be no soft surfaces in sight.
As nearly as he would be able to determine, the cells were about seven feet deep by seven feet wide, with the ceiling too high to reach, and the far wall made of the same linoleum of the floor. Said wall was occupied entirely by a small metal toilet and what seemed to be some sort of cold, hard bench, the only thing passing for a seat or bed in the cell; the rest of it was simply open floorspace. The cells were separated from each other and the room itself by rows of bars about the size of a bottlecap around, with just barely enough space to pass a hand through between them. For being an obvious prison, the cell's lock was surprisingly easy to reach--still, though, the entire thing seemed quite indestructible and inescapable, should any effort to test that fact be made.
The group had been left alone for several hours after Luffy's tails had been removed, closed off in their little white prison to contemplate their various fates. When the phantasms finally did return, it was almost soundlessly, the door swinging open to admit a strap-laden operating table to be wheeled straight into the cell room, directly in front of their prisons for easy viewing; a cart laden with equipment followed soon after it. The pair of phantasms that had returned stood for a moment to watch Break pacing, before silently moving to unlock his door and remove him for his experiment.
One stepped inside the cell itself to seize Break; the other simply stood inside the doorway, cutting off any possible means of escape.
